Water Quality Monitoring

Dixon/Solano RCD Water Quality Coalition conducts representative water quality monitoring on behalf of coalition members that includes regular sampling at the Ulatis Creek monitoring site and two groundwater sites (see map of monitoring sites below). Where water quality standards are exceeded, Management Plans are triggered. Water quality sampling is on a three-year cycle of assessment-core-core.  This mean on an assessment year, the monitoring schedule is nearly monthly testing and on a core year (non-assessment), the monitoring is on the month an exceedance occured from the prior year, if on a management plan.

On the Central Valley Regional Water Board website, ILRP coalition submittals of approved annual monitoring plans and water quality summaries can be accessed here.
