$15,000 Funding opportunity for small and mid-size growers.  Apply now until June 28th!

The North Valley Food Hub at CSU Chico’s Center for Regenerative Agriculture and Resilient Systems is supporting farmers through the USDA Advancing Markets for Producers grant. 

Through our Marketing Advancement Planning (MAP) program , growers can access tools and funding to expand and improve their sales and marketing capacity through thoughtful self-assessment, grower driven priority setting and actionable planning.  Use our Self-Assessment Tool and Marketing Advancement Plan template to create a MAP to success, tailored to your farm needs and goals and receive $15,000 to put your plan into action!

Eligibility Requirements:

1.      Growers must primarily farm in one of the following counties: Sacramento, Yolo, Solano, Yuba, Sutter, Colusa, Glenn, Butte, Tehama, Nevada, Placer

2.     Grower must have conducted at least $1,500 and no more than $750,000 in sales of agricultural products produced on farm in the previous year (2025). 

3.     Grower must attest they are not receiving any duplicative state or federal funding.  

4.       Grower must establish records with Farm Service Agency and provide NVFH with the following:

1.     a.       A copy of an FSA map showing Farm, Tract and Field ID’

2.     b.       A copy of “Producer Subsidiary Print”

Enrollment Details:

· Open Enrollment: June 8 to June 28th

· We will select 50 successful applicants.

·  Grant awards will prioritize farms with clear needs and strong potential for meaningful impact.  

· Application available in Spanish

·  Successful applicants will be contacted and will be required to submit FSA documentation prior to receiving any payments.    

·  Growers are expected to complete the program within 60 days of enrollment.
