Kelly has worked for more than twenty years on agricultural water quality and resource conservation programs.  Kelly began her career working with Farm Bureaus and Resource Conservation Agencies to help establish a voluntary, farmer-led program on the Central Coast of California.  She started with the Dixon Resource Conservation District in 2006 and assumed the role of District Manager in 2020, serving a board of five local farmers and ranchers whose primary mission is to provide drainage and conservation related services and programs to the local agricultural community.  This has included assistance with agricultural leases on the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, administering the Dixon/Solano RCD Water Quality Coalition as well as involvement in regional drainage and the groundwater sustainability planning.   Kelly graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1996 with a B.S. in Agricultural Business that included coursework in Australia.  Kelly is grateful to be living and working in the Dixon community.

Program Coordinator

(707) 678-1655 x103

martha-mckeen@dixonrcd.org

Martha joined the Dixon RCD team in 2015. Hired on a part-time basis, she assisted members in the Dixon/Solano RCD Water Quality Coalition to complete their farm reporting requirements of the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP). Martha is currently the full-time Program Coordinator overseeing member compliance, outreach coordinating, billing, and program budgeting. Martha’s family has farmed in Yolo County for more than 100 years so it is a natural fit to work with Coalition members that are the farmers and growers of Solano County.

Martha holds a B.S. in Occupational Safety with a minor in fire and safety technology.  Her passion is Environmental Safety and her attention to detail make her a perfect match for compliance in any program she oversees.

Martha has over 24 years of combined experience in compliance and program management. She has managed both people and processes at a large supply chain and ran multiple departments including managing the overall safety program.

When Martha is not assisting members with the requirements of the ILRP, she enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with her family.
